Trevor Askin : Time Flies

This exhibition presents a retrospective of Trevor Askin's works over the last 40 years.

Trevor Askin works from his own studio and foundry in the Timaru. He began sculpting in 1980, working mainly in a representational sculpture. However, after about five years his work began to develop a freer and flowing style, enabling a fuller expression of life and movement. These works are without hard lines, which give the unique style its name ‘curvilinear’.
